So, it is only fitting that my first post here be about my favorite day of the week. Most people would say that Saturday or Sunday or Friday are their favorites. Myself? Wednesday is my favorite part of the week. I have the longest day ever at work on Wednesdays. I watch the clock all day, waiting for 5 o’clock. Then, I go and pick up my mini me and head to Switch. I don’t know how better to get past the middle of the week than spending time with 14 and 15 year old girls. They make me laugh and worry all at the same time. These girls are amazing and heartbreaking. I love getting to be a part of their lives and speaking truth into their lives. I am usually exhausted and drained by the end of the night, but then I get to have my second favorite part of the night. I get to hang out afterwards with all these other crazy people who do this every week. This is our time to talk over issues our kids have, get advice, and just be with each other. It’s pretty amazing!
